Whiptail はシェルスクリプトから[[w:Dialog box|dialog boxes]] を表示できるプログラムで、ユーザーフレンドリーな方法でユーザーに情報を提供したり、ユーザーから入力を取得したりできます。 Whiptail は[[w:Debian|Debian]] などのさまざまな他の GNU/Linux ディストリビューションに含まれています。
